Why is it important for your brand to celebrate Earth Month and how are you celebrating throughout the month?

Earth Month is a natural extension of what Marianne’s stands for: thoughtful sourcing, transparency, and respect for the land that feeds us. It’s a moment to reconnect with where our food comes from and the impact of how it’s grown. Throughout the month, we’re spotlighting our 100% pure Regenerative Organic Certified® avocado oil, Organic Avocado Oil, and Organic Beef Tallow through a series of recipes and giveaways on Instagram with chef partners and like-minded creators that embody our ethos, including Sabrina Rudin, who is launching her new cookbook Healthy with a Side of Happy, and Jessica Koslow of Sqirl. They’ll feature We’re also bringing Earth Month to life at retail, with in-store promotions and activations with partners like Sprouts nationwide and Pop Up Grocer in NYC.

Marianne’s is brought to you by Adams Group, a family-owned, B2B food ingredients company with roots dating back to 1914. As an early adopter of organic, Adams Group has long been committed to responsible sourcing and building a more transparent, resilient food system from seed to shelf. For us, Earth Month is simply a reflection of how we operate year-round, grounded in doing the right thing for the land, the people who steward it, and the future of food.

What does your brand do to help create a healthier environment and to treat the planet more respectfully everyday?

We focus on sourcing that supports healthy soil, thriving farmers, and a system that gives back. Our 100% pure Regenerative Organic Certified® avocado oil is sourced from smallholder farms in East Africa where avocados grow alongside banana, coffee, and moringa in a naturally balanced ecosystem.

Through practices like soil and biodiversity care, rainwater harvesting, and zero-waste processes, these farms help restore the land while supporting fair trade and the communities who care for it. Because when the soil thrives, everything does.

We bring that same intention to our Organic Beef Tallow, which is also 100% grass-fed, humanely raised on U.S. farms, and slow rendered in small batches for quality you can trust.

What is one thing you wish everyone knew about organic?

Organic isn’t something new, it’s rooted in how food was grown for generations before modern chemical inputs became common, working with nature rather than against it. The certification sets an important baseline, but many farmers go beyond it, so the label is just the beginning of a deeper story about how food is grown.

Why is it important for your brand to be organic?

Organic is rooted in our belief that quality begins at the source, guided by care for the land and the people who grow our food. As the #1 buyer of organic avocados worldwide, we feel that it is important to strengthen the supply chain and support the continued growth of organic.

What does organic do to make the planet healthier?

When you choose organic, you’re supporting practices that work in harmony with nature. This means the soil where your food grows is healthier and richer, which helps it retain water and support diverse plants and animals. Plus, organic farming avoids synthetic pesticides and fertilizers, keeping harmful chemicals away from our ecosystems and wildlife. By opting for organic, you’re also backing farmers who prioritize sustainable practices, ensuring that the land remains healthy for future generations.

How can consumers celebrate Earth Month?

Swap one thing in your household for an organic product this month. It’s a simple way to support organic products, like Marianne’s, that are working to build a more thoughtful, regenerative food system. Choose options that align with your values and take a moment to learn where your food comes from. Even small changes, like upgrading the oils and fats you cook with, can make a meaningful impact.
