Why is it important for your brand to celebrate Earth Month and how are you celebrating throughout the month?
For Niman Ranch, Earth Month is a time to honor the family farmers and ranchers who act as stewards of our land.
This year, we are celebrating the launch of our Regenerative Organic Certified® beef program, which has transitioned 105,000 acres of U.S. ranchland to regenerative organic practices!
What does your brand do to help create a healthier environment and to treat the planet more respectfully everyday?
We prioritize “beyond sustainable” practices through regenerative organic agriculture. By using high-frequency rotational grazing, our cattle help sequester carbon, improve water retention, and restore biodiversity in the soil.
What is one thing you wish everyone knew about organic? This can be something that is often misunderstood.
Regenerative and organic practices can improve meat quality and flavor. Niman Ranch’s regenerative beef pairs elite Angus genetics with grass-fed organic standards to deliver USDA Choice and Prime marbling. It’s possible to heal the planet while enjoying a world-class steakhouse experience.
Why is it important for your brand to be organic?
While Niman Ranch has always led in humane and sustainable practices, our new organic beef offering allows us to bring the benefits of organic production to U.S. grasslands and ranching families. Currently, 95% of organic beef is imported; by going organic, we support American family ranchers and ensure a transparent, domestic solution for conscious consumers.
What does organic do to make the planet healthier?
Raising organic grass-fed cattle regeneratively builds soil health, supports biodiversity, and fosters a resilient food system that can better withstand climate extremes.
How can consumers celebrate Earth Month?
Vote with your fork! Choose products that support U.S. family farmers and high-integrity certifications like organic. Even small shifts—like opting for U.S.-raised organic beef—can have a meaningful impact on the health of our rural communities and planet.
