It started with seven cows and a love of yogurt. Founder Samuel Kaymen, a diabetic, experimented in his kitchen to create the perfect yogurt requiring no added sugar. Operations were small, but when the world caught on about naturally delicious yogurt, Samuel brought in Gary to help expand. The natural, organic way of operating continues today, with Stonyfield becoming a model for socially and environmentally responsible business.
